Sulfur Hexafluoride is a colorless and odorless gaseous compound which condenses directly to solid upon cooling. It is non-toxic and non-flammable and is most commonly used as an electrical insulator or arc suppressant. The mixture has considerably higher dense than air with an experimental density of 6.17 grams per liter. It has a chemical formula of SF6 with an average molar mass of 146.06 grams per mol. It can be used in various applications which includes pharmaceutical, automotive, electrical insulation and as a filler in textile or plastic industries.
